Storm Clouds – Valley of the Gods, Utah is one of my images that will be shown at the Art Bar in Milwaukee. .
Four of my images have been selected for exhibition at the Art Bar Riverwest at 722 E Burleigh St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (+1-414-372-7880). This juried show is themed “Big, Bold, Beautiful Black and White” and features photographs selected from the members of The Coalition of Photographic Artists in Milwaukee (CoPA) so lots of other photographers’ works will be on display as well. The Art Bar is a local hotspot that refreshes its walls with local art every few weeks so I hope you get a chance to stop by, grab a brew and peruse the images. The photographers who belong to CoPA are among the best in Milwaukee and many of them are often featured in international photography exhibitions. The show runs from July 20th through August 30th, 2018.
CoPA will also host a display of members’ work at Gallery Night in Milwaukee’s Third Ward on July 20th, 2018. The exhibition is called “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and I’ve got an image in that show too. (I don’t know if its my best but it is the one that sells the best.) Gallery Night is where Milwaukee’s cognoscenti and not-so-cognoscenti perambulate around town to appreciate art. This happens in Downtown Brew City, East Town, Walker’s Point and The Third Ward. All the best galleries open their doors for the crowd. The CoPA show is located at ground zero of Gallery Night fun in the Marshall Building’s first floor (207 E Buffalo St.)

Thanks Robert. I just happened to stumble upon the Valley of the Gods while returning home from a trip in the Four Corners area. I spotted the rock formations and drove in to explore. Then the weather system came cruising through. I don’t often get that lucky.

Thanks Sydney. They should be some excellent shows. There is lots of photography talent in the Milwaukee area and its good to see it displayed. My understanding from the CoPA folks is that there will be more opportunities coming up.
